Restorative Yoga with Kennedy - Friday Evening

This is your end the week chance to relax and recharge! In this restorative yoga class you will breathe deep and stretch out, giving yourself space to feel your body and feel at peace. This gentle class is for all levels and will leave everyone feeling calm and replenished when you walk out of the studio. We offer many different classes for all skill levels!

Foundations

This class is designed for beginners. Classes introduce the student to the basic principles of alignment and technique through a series of stretching and strengthening postures. Props are encouraged as we place emphasis on stretching the hamstrings, hips, shoulders and spine.

Power Hour

Power hour is a 60 minute high intensity yoga practice focused on strengthening both the body and mind. Power hour honors where you are in your practice while at the same time challenges your body and mind with an emphasis on strengthening postures combined with balanced movement.

Vinyasa Flow

Focusing on linking the breath and movement, this flowing yoga class will include a well-rounded practice of Sun Salutations, standing and seated postures, backbends, and inversions. Proper alignment will be demonstrated and thorough instruction will be given to help the student achieve their yoga pose. The physical practice on the mat acts to calm the mind and allow us to connect with the body leaving us feeling stronger, relaxed, balanced, and present to take on life off of the mat.

Slow Flow

A slower paced flowing yoga class steeped in the foundation of Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility, strength, and relaxation. A well-rounded, balanced yoga practice will be achieved while some poses will be held slightly longer and more attention paid to the details in the poses. All levels

Dynamic Flow

Get ready to deepen your practice with a steady, dynamic flow of connected, continuous movement linked with breath. This challenging class combines a series of energetic poses and stretching which are all connected through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Our goal is to build both strength and flexibility while creating a stronger mind/body connection. A basic understanding of yoga is helpful but all levels are welcome.

Lunch Flow

Recharge your batteries with a well-rounded practice of Sun Salutations, standing and seated postures. Condensed into 60 minutes to get you out the door and ready to take on the rest of your day.

Yoga-Lite

A gentile, supportive, non-flow class designed for students at all levels. Maintain strength, increase flexibility, improve balance, develop mental focus and build a sense of community. Students will practice beginning yoga postures while working on the principles of body alignment and breath awareness. Modifications and supportive props such as chairs, blocks and straps will be provided to ensure that poses are accessible for adults of all ages and abilities. All students are welcome, especially those who are over 50, those with minor physical ailments and those who prefer a slower paced and more relaxed practice.

Pre-Teen/ Teen Yoga

No heat and no judgment in this class! Through yoga poses and breathing exercises, students will focus on strength, flexibility, relieving stress and calming the mind. Students are welcome to join in as they wish. No commitment required.
